The next sci-fi series I will love

So, in a month or so Battlestar Galactica will be over, and I’m afraid that endlessly watching my Stargate Atlantis and Farscape DVD’s is going to get old. What’s going to tide me over till humanity finally boldly goes? Name it, and toss in a quick synopsis. So long as it has robots, spaceships and Nathan Fillion, I think you’ll have a die-hard fan in me.

What, you haven’t seen Legend of the Firestar Galactiscape Chronicles yet??? No synopsis could do it any justice. You just have to watch it.

Or, Sports Night Office Six Feet Under

it’s about these robots who sell paper to funeral homes doing sports broadcasts in outer space. The twist: the emotion-chips make their brains asplode.

    Brain Space
Tiny little space aliens take the misguided step of invading Joss Whedon’s psyche. Every week is a new adventure as they navigate the creative fantasies of the writer/producer/director of so many off the beaten path shows and movies. Outside of Whedon’s head, Joss is having a difficult time getting anyone to believe that anything is wrong with him.

“Science fiction is an existential metaphor that allows us to tell stories about the human condition. Isaac Asimov once said: ‘Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today, but the core of science fiction, its essence, has become crucial to our salvation, if we are to be saved at all.’”
